Gruesome and Grim tattooing from my main influence.  Clay McCay.  Ive been working with Clay for the past 8 years.  I started with Clay, Katie Sellergren, and Ricky McGee at a shop called Planet 3 here in Savannah.  I had been tattooing for about a year and half, maybe two?  My tattooing was rough at best.  I was young, about 23.  I knew of all of these guys from the magazines and was so intimidated to work with them.  BUT, they took me in and showed me how it should be done.  Still learning everyday, still working with Clay and Ricky 8 years later.  Katie has moved on to her own shop in Mt Idy tattoo in Iowa.

The first tattoo I ever got was a straight edge tattoo at 17.  Im almost 32 now and still straight edge.  I dont even think about it anymore, its just part of me.  Its always fun to chat about old bands and how different everyone views straight edge.

My customers throw me curve balls sometimes, but I am always up to try to make it work.  This was fun and I bought a everything bagel for reference.  It was really hard not to eat the whole thing.  I kept it out during the tattoo.  Probably looked disgusting while I was working, as if I was chowing down on a bagel with bloody gloves.  Oh well.  Thanks Kat.

This might clear up some of the confusion…Not a pink leopard, just the marker as a stencil.  I had a lot of people asking me about the Pink panther tattoo I posted.  This was it.  Just hot pink marker.  Also the preliminary drawing
