Horse shoe crab with a radio tower for a tail. Combining the prehistoric age and the modern age. Thanks Jake. This was a fun challenge.

Viracocha angel for Craig
January 15, 2013 § Leave a Comment
Craig came down from Charleston and did two sessions on this rib piece. This is based on a carving of an Incan megalith in Peru. This anthropomorphic condor is on the side of the carving bowing towards the central Viracocha figure. It is believed to be a guardian angel. As of right now we have plans to tattoo another angel from the carvings of the megalith on the other side of his ribs, and the image of the Viracocha on the chest and stomach. Thanks for sitting so well on this Craig.

I’ve been slacking a bit on the blog posts. I have mainly been posting my tattoos on instagram/facebook. So I am going to be backtracking a bit with a few posts and photos. I am very sorry to punish any followers with duplicate photos, but some people only use facebook, some only use instagram and some prefer to not use either. Either way, on with the blog… Thanks to everyone who has looked, commented, gotten tattooed, traveled to get tattooed, or even just recommended a friend. Thank you all sincerely.
This is where we left off on Michael’s Kame (turtle) half sleeve and chest panel. Hopefully we can get the last short session in before he goes to live on a submarine for a year.

This was so much fun. I got a chance to tattoo a character from “The Mighty Boosh.” This is Jerome the crack fox. It is worth a youtube if you are unfamiliar. Thanks Chris.

Madison’s Half sleeves

The top tattoo is based on a Vladimir Kush painting, which I included in the post. Madison was understanding enough to just use the idea to build a tattoo and not to get stuck on trying to execute every nuance of the original painting. The top is the healed photo about a year in from the completion. The bottom photo is the last one we completed. We used a few snap shots of her grandparents’ farm to make a tattoo that would compliment the right arm. Thanks Madison.
